bus seats. His eyes ogle at the
bareness of my legs. I feel caught
and ripped open.
I imagine his skull concave
and unfastened. I imagine my
hands caked in blood.
About the Artist:
Jae Eason is a poet hailing from Long Island, New York, who has been writing poetry since they were thirteen. The main theme of their work is the exploration of violence against the body, inflicted both by society, as well as by oneself. She is a co-Editor-in-Chief of existé magazine.
