A Night in San Antonio

By: M.S. Blues

1–2 minutes

bright, bright lights,
on wild, wild nights!

those skies,
singing ballads
to those beholding eyes!

the warm, tired vivacity,
illuminates like a raindrop,
over my restless eye!

(does this city ever sleep?
does this city ever breathe?
does this city ever awake from its dream?)

a girl from california wouldn’t be aware.

surely, i’m equipped to handle the life of the party,
but i wonder if my skills are adequate enough to survive this night…

i suppose we shall see!
